xCams v3.1

v3.1 Release Notes / Jun '22

You can't escape numbers. They’re everywhere! Even if you’re someone who loves math, it may get cumbersome and exhausting at times, if you don't have the right instruments to help you along the way. That’s why we are doing our share in helping you run your business smoothly.

From tracking the earnings for all stakeholders, managing commissions, absolute and complete controls, and just having an unambiguous clarity through clear reports and friendly analytics for all things “Numbers”. That’s what this version can offer you.

🌟 What’s new?

  1. Commissions for all transaction types: Set individual studio commission rates for different types of transactions, like tipping, private show charges, product purchases, and so on. Studios can also set transaction-level commissions for their models. Just set the commissions as agreed between all parties, and let the commission and earnings system take care of calculating everyone’s shares accordingly.

  2. Earnings Page: Spanking new Earnings page for everyone - Admin, Studio and Models - to keep track of their transactions. Clearly-labelled columns, transparent commissions, conversion rate, and overview stats, everything laid out to give a complete and crystal view of your earnings.

  3. Earnings Page Stats: All the stakeholders can now check their amount of paid and unpaid balances right on the earnings page, along with other crucial stats.

🐞 What’s fixed?

  1. Placeholder images when model is offline/group/private shows: The stream image was not updating when model was offline, or in a private/group show. This has been fixed.

✨ What’s improved?

  1. Token Counter: Instead of overall tokens earned, Studio and Models can now view the total Unpaid Token Balance using the counter at the top of their dashboards.

  2. Tipping notification: Other than the tokens received, the tipping notification for models will also show the amount of tokens they have collected after the admin/studio commissions.

✏️ What’s changed?

  1. Commissions for studio-operated models: Previously, admin had access to set commission for both independent and studio-operated models. These non-functional settings have been removed for the studio models on admin end. Instead the respective studio will set the commissions for models working with them.

🔨 The little things…

  1. Added help text under the default commission settings on the admin end.

  2. Added notification messages when saving commission defaults.

  3. Restricted commission values to be set only up to 100, and also to allow decimals.

  4. Renamed menu titles for better clarity.

  5. Added help texts for studio, model, and admin to understand better what the commission figures shown and different controls mean.
